Join the Arundel Players’ Creative Team: Volunteers Wanted for Set Building and Decoration!

Are you passionate about theatre and eager to contribute to set design and decoration?

Join our vibrant Arundel Players community, a local amateur theatre group seeking enthusiastic volunteers.

Since 1976, the Priory Playhouse has been the cherished home of the Arundel Players. We take pride in delivering a variety of memorable productions to our audiences, and we need your expertise to continue this tradition!

What We're Looking For

  • DIY Enthusiasts: Whether you're experienced or just looking to learn, your skills are invaluable.

  • Collaborate with fellow volunteers to assemble and paint sets for six productions a year.

  • Each rehearsal period lasts about eight weeks, during which the sets come to life.

Commitment Details

  • Flexible Scheduling: Dedicate as much or as little time as you can.

  • Set-building typically occurs once a week for 2-3 hours, with timings agreed upon by volunteers.

  • There's no obligation to attend every session or assist with every production. Tools are provided, though feel free to bring your own.

What We Offer

  • Friendly Atmosphere: Enjoy a relaxed environment with other theatre and DIY enthusiasts.

  • Engage in lively conversations over endless cups of tea, coffee, and occasionally, cake! It's fun, rewarding, and a great way to meet new people.
